About

Growing up in a “show biz” family, with parents who met as castmates in a dinner theater production and having a grand-father who worked for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios in the 1960’s, pretty much ensured that a regular desk job life wasn’t in the cards for me. This meant over twenty years in broadcast radio as an air personality as well as a production director, writing/casting/producing commercials. This meant being an audiobook narrator with titles ranging from Science Fiction to Romance to Horror. This meant playing rock ‘n’ roll with…

Actually, no. That’s MTV’s fault. Back when they were playing music videos, of course.

I’ve been blessed to work with a variety of actors in several mediums, whether it was Cass Daley in a stage production of “The Wizard of Oz”, Tim Allen and Sigourney Weaver in “Galaxy Quest”, Garrett Morris and Lou Ferrigno in an episode of USA Networks “GvsE”, or rappers Method Man and Redman while shooting their video for “Tear It Off”, which featured Verne Troyer (“Mini-Me” from the Austin Powers film series).

All that aside, I’ve found my passion is voiceovers. It’s all about the power and emotion of the voice coupled with the words of a talented writer. Or writers. Getting someone to feel moved simply by an impassioned vocal to feel heartache, joy, or to get their car painted for just $599.99 THIS WEEK ONLY!… yeah, man. That’s the stuff.

Best of all, I usually don’t have to get gussied up to do it.

When I’m not doing that, I’m writing and recording music for my band, the international rock ‘n roll phenomenon Bombay Black (check out the music page for samples and videos) and another “melodic yet hard” group called Romeo Riot.
